Elderly
As you know when we get older we all get a bit slower. We have aches and pains and all sorts of problems, well for dogs it’s no different. I get many old dogs that come in to the salon with all sorts of problems. Some are blind, deaf, have problems with their skin, problems with their legs, hips and so on. Dogs like these just need that extra special bit of care and here at Mucky Mutz I make sure they get just exactly that.
Elderly dogs are always given extra breaks throughout the grooming. If a groom does become too stressful for them, I will end it and they can always come back another day to be finished. It really is amazing the effect a groom can have on an elderly dog. It can take years off them. I have seen them come plodding through the door when they get to me and leave skipping when it is time to go home. The transformation really is amazing and is great to see.
Remember humanity comes before vanity!
